Reading Roundup: July 2011

Here’s this months grouping of good reads:

The couldn’t put down:

  • Untitled:  Thoughts on the Creative Process by Blaine Hogan- Perhaps one of the best books I’ve read on the creative process.  I might have to re-read this one again.
  • Those Guys Have All The Fun:  Inside The World of ESPN- Really interesting tale on how ESPN got started and evolved into the company that it is today.

The still good:

  • The Saint by Oliver Broudy
  • The Snowman by Jo Nesbo
  • The Barbed-Wire Kiss by Wallace Stroby
  • A Spy By Nature by Charles Cumming
  • Cadel Evans:  Close to Flying by Cadel Evans
  • Wide-Eyed and Legless by Jeff Connor
  • Sacred Companions:  The Gift of Spiritual Friendship and Direction by David Benner
  • After The Flag Has Been Been Folded by Karen Spears Zacharias
  • Where’s Your Jesus Now?  by Karen Spears Zacharias
  • The Liar’s Bible:  A Handbook of For Fiction Writers by Lawrence Block
