Announcement: The Accident is NOW Available

I’m happy to announce that my first book is finally out.  “The Accident:  A Bike, A Truck, And A Train” is now available in paperback and Kindle format from Amazon (see the links below).

You might be thinking, “I didn’t know Chris was writing a book.  What’s it about?”

Well, here’s the blurb from the back cover:  “On the morning of August 11, 2009, Chris went for a morning bike ride as he did most days.  Forty minutes later, the driver of a pickup truck struck Chris from behind.  The Accident sent him to the emergency room via an ambulance.  Despite people telling him that he was “lucky” to be alive, Chris found himself locked in a mental and emotional battle with fear.  Tormented by nightmares, Chris feared that he’d never be able to get on a bike again and that his life would be forever marked by the events of August the 11th.  The Accident is an emotional, honest, and sometimes humorous look at one person’s battle to reclaim his life and overcome the fears that followed a traumatic event.”

How can you get your copy?

1.  The Accident is available as an ebook for the Kindle for $2.99.  (Do you need a Kindle to read the book?  No, you just need a Kindle app, which are available from Amazon for your computer, cellphone, iPad, or other electronic devices.)  Here’s the link for the Kindle version of The Accident.

2.  The Accident is also available as a paperback from Amazon for $9.95.  Here’s the link for the paperback version of The Accident.

3.  Of course, if you don’t want to order it from Amazon, you can purchase a copy directly from me for $9.95.  Email, text, or call me to let me know you’d like a copy (or 2 or 3 or 4).  I expect to have copies available the last week of January.

If you read it and like it, a review on Amazon would be greatly appreciated.

I’m excited about the release of The Accident.  I hope you enjoy it.
